Following this years (2008) Ennis Trad Festival, I asked 2 very good friends of mine to help record some sound samples for this website. Michael (Blackie) O'Connell is playing my pipes & Karol Lynch is recording in his home studio.
Blackie's piping is very much influenced by Paddy Keenan & the travelling style (just listen to his rendition of Rakish Paddy). He normally plays a Cillian O'Brien full set so is well able to tear away with my pipes which are similar in many ways. I'm sure you'll all agree that his piping is quite amazing
Many thanks to the lads for their help, because I am still learning how to wrestle with the regulators so would be struggling to get the best out of my pipes for you all to hear.
